History

In the 1970s, several families from Detroit and Flint envisioned a brighter future for their children. They hoped to establish a place where they could promote an Islamic way of life for their children while helping them maintain an American Muslim Identity.

Dar Al-Huda

This dream came to life in 1979 with the contributions of those families, and helped found the Dar Al-Huda weekend school. Dar al Huda is registered tax exempt non-profit organization.
